Hello! My name is Arielle Rosenberg and I graduated with a Master of Human Resource Management in 2024.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in management and business analytics at another university before coming to Purdue to pursue a graduate degree. During my last two undergraduate years, I started taking classes about human resources and organizational behavior. I was fascinated to learn how human resources is, in many ways, the co-pilot of any business. After graduation, I knew I wanted to further apply my strategic business and analytics training in a master’s in human resource management program. The human resource industry is ever-evolving, and furthering my business acumen at the Daniels School was the next step in my journey to become a well-rounded, emerging business professional.

I encourage students to take advantage of joining professional organizations and societies, attending student socials, competing in case competitions, engaging in experiential learning, considering graduate research, or simply just exploring campus and absorbing all Purdue has to offer.

Some may find it hard to believe that a Hoosier who once only wore crimson and cream could ever put on the Black and Old Gold. Regardless of the infamous Big Ten rivalry, Purdue University is a leading STEM school, and the graduate programs at the Daniels School of Business enhance students’ analytical skills and transform them into business-savvy leaders of change. This was very important to me because I have always had a keen interest in data analytics within a business context. Enrolling in the human resource management program was one of the best investments I've made in my education. More importantly, the faculty and staff invested in me.

Choosing the Daniels School meant more than just showing up for class. Choosing the Daniels School opened the door to my amazing success team, including my program manager, academic director, career coach and professors who champion my learning and professional development inside and outside the classroom.

While at the Daniels School, I was an ambassador and champion for my program and Purdue University. I wanted to make a positive impact on people's lives and contribute to their success in a meaningful way, regardless of whether they committed to Purdue.

My advice to future Boilermakers? It can be easy to fall into a routine of going to class, going home to study and returning to class. Don’t rinse and repeat this cycle. The Daniels School graduate programs are so much more than attending lectures. Seek opportunities to further your development beyond the classroom. Take advantage of joining professional organizations and societies, attend student socials, compete in case competitions, engage in experiential learning, complete graduate research, and explore campus. Absorb all Purdue has to offer beyond classroom walls and make new connections. This time goes by so quickly. Don’t spend it by falling into routine. Find something that uniquely shapes your experience and devote time here so that when you graduate, you can reflect on the lasting impact you’ve made at Purdue.
