MGMT 110: Interview an Alum

Our Interview an Alum assignment pairs freshmen in the Larsen Leader Academy with alumni who have graduated in the last 5 years and who can make suggestions on internships, clubs or student activities within the Daniels School to get involved in so students get a well-rounded experience with their education. The dates you can expect outreach from the students are: Sept 29-Oct 26. We estimate each conversation to take 30-60 minutes.

Our Career Conversation program is open to all alumni active in the business world or retired from their role in business to share their career paths and insights with students matched based on common interests. The sign up link will have both mod 1 and mod 2 dates to sign up for.

Sit on a panel and cover topics such as career fair preparation, skills that stand out to recruiters, and company recruiting process timelines. This moderated panel is for freshmen and sophomores in the MGMT295 class. Open to alumni professionals who work primarily in recruiting.

1-5 Hours Medium Involvement In-Person

Financial Management Research Challenge

Alumni currently working in the finance industry are invited to participate in this virtual case competition judging opportunity. Current undergraduate finance students will advise this semester’s sponsor, Allegiant Airlines, on their response to tariffs. They will complete a cash flow model, consider multiple scenarios, and make a final recommendation in a short video. The judging period is November 10-18, 2025.

MGMT 370: Real Estate Career Conversations

We are seeking real estate professionals to participate in an interview conducted by a Real Estate Fundamentals student, focusing on your career path. The interviews will be virtual, approximately 30 minutes in length, and will be scheduled at your convenience in early November. Participation also involves some email communication with the student and completing an online screening form.
