New Daniels School Dean Leads Wide-Ranging Conversation on Economics

The new dean of the Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business at Purdue University will share his vast monetary policy expertise during an upcoming live National Association for Business Economics (NABE) webinar.

Bullard served as the sitting president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis for 15 years before becoming the Daniels School’s Dr. Samuel R. Allen Dean on August 15.

He earned significant praise for his leadership and innovative thinking as part of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) in guiding the direction of U.S. monetary policy.

Bullard also serves as Special Advisor to the President of the university, reporting to President Mung Chiang in that capacity. He is a Distinguished Professor of Service in the Daniels School’s Department of Economics.
