Fabrício d’Almeida is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Finance at Purdue University’s Mitch Daniels School of Business and Academic Director of the Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and specializes in bridging academic theory with industry practice. At Purdue, he teaches courses in corporate finance, venture capital, and experiential learning, including the Student Managed Venture Fund and Practicum in Finance, with a strong emphasis on real-world application. His innovative approach to teaching has been recognized with multiple awards, including the KATE Award for Course Innovation.

 

As Academic Director, Fabrício leads strategic initiatives in curriculum development, student recruitment, and career placement. He has introduced specialized tracks aligned with industry demand, expanded international partnerships, and strengthened connections with leading financial institutions. He is actively involved in mentoring students through competitions, industry treks, and experiential programs, helping them build meaningful connections with industry partners and alumni while preparing them for successful careers in finance.
