Amy David joined the Krannert School of Management as a Clinical Assistant Professor in August 2014, after completing her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She teaches experiential learning in operations management, as well as undergraduate and graduate courses in production planning and control and supply chain management. She has been recognized as one of Poets & Quants Top 50 Undergraduate Professors (2020) and received the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals Teaching Innovation Award (2022).
Previously, Dr. David worked as Logistics Planning and Process Development Manager at USG and a Logistics Analyst at Medline Industries. She holds an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and the APICS CPIM designation.
