Sugato's research and published works span multiple disciplines -- ranging from Consumer Behavior, Consumer Psychology, Finance, Strategy, Accounting, Organizational Behavior, Entrepreneurship, Retailing, etc..  According to Google Scholar, his research papers have been cited about 6,000 times.  As a sample, his research output has been published in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Business, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Fixed Income, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Economic Psychology, Journal of World Business, etc.  His current research projects include questions in consumer behavior, leadership, trust, asset pricing, corporate governance, institutional trading, entrepreneurship and corporate strategic decision making.
