I’m excited to announce the launch of the Daniels School’s Business Fellows Program. Our Fellows will give their time and talent to help students, faculty and school leadership further integrate the real world into our curriculum, campus events, conferences and research. The program will yield benefits for our West Lafayette students, those at our new Indianapolis campus and our online learners around the world.
The program is a modern-day twist on traditional executive-in-residence programs. Recognizing that technology gives us access to a broader group of senior executives, the Business Fellows Program opens a tremendous asset to students, faculty, alumni and leadership at the Daniels School as guest lecturers, conference chairs, curriculum developers, webinar hosts, research advisors, case competition sponsors and networking hubs.
Our Fellows will offer multi-modal/multimedia interaction through campus visits, webinars, podcasts and video casts. Recognizing that the Daniels School has so many alumni and non-alumni alike who want to be a part of building the reimagined business school, this new program provides a way to widen the circle of supporters. It also gives our constituents enhanced access to an amazing set of professionals from industry. To align with our renewed focus on career development and our new curricula, Fellows will be enlisted from a broad array of industry sectors, including investment banking, supply chain, family office, commercial banking, manufacturing, wealth management, asset management, private equity and more.
The Fellows’ impact will be immediate and wide-ranging. They will ensure that our curriculum is leading-edge, that our students are differentiated in the employment market and that our broader Daniels School community of students, faculty, alumni and leadership is connected to a wide range of industries at very senior levels. Fellows possess a unique perspective from industry that allows us to bring the best of both worlds to the reimagined Daniels School as we challenge the world’s top business schools.
We are excited about our first two Fellows, one in Supply Chain and one in Global Family Office and Wealth Management. You’ll be introduced to them soon in a future Daniels Insights blog post!
