Marketing Lab Projects

This project aims to leverage CRM tools' powerful email marketing capabilities to create, execute, and optimize targeted email campaigns that drive customer engagement and business growth. Implementations will involve: Create a comprehensive email marketing strategy aligned with business goals. Implement Salesforce Marketing Cloud for advanced email marketing functionality. Set up customized dashboards to track key email metrics including open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.

This project aims to implement a comprehensive web analytics and tracking system to gain valuable insights into website performance, user behavior, and overall digital marketing effectiveness. Implementations will involve: Conduct a thorough audit of the existing website to analyze current performance and audience behaviors. Implement a robust web analytics platform that aligns with business requirements. Develop customized dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics in traffic sources and acquisition data, user demographics and location insight, organic search performance, and conversion rates and goal completions.

This project aims to significantly boost our brand's social media presence, increase audience engagement, and drive measurable business results through strategic social media initiatives. The project will encompass the following key components: Conduct a comprehensive audit of current social media presence across all platforms. Refine and optimize social media profiles across all relevant platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X). Develop a content calendar with a mix of original, curated, and user-generated content. Set up comprehensive social media analytics tracking and link-wheeling to website.

Through the Marketing Lab qualified students will have the opportunity to work on real-life projects providing solutions to companies’ marketing issues. Members of our team will not only be developing practical skills through working on projects with leading companies in the country, they also will be showcasing talents and knowledge in the field of marketing. Student employees of the Marketing Lab are paid an hourly wage for the work completed on their assigned project(s).

Students interested in applying should meet at least one of the following qualifications:

  • Experience in online marketing analytical tools, e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tag Manager
  • Experience in CRM SaaS tools, e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot
  • A knowledge in social media and its advertising platforms, e.g., Facebook Ads manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Understanding in website development and its software, e.g., HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript
  • The availability to dedicate 5-20 hours per week on assigned project
