The Krannert School of Management’s marketing and recruitment efforts have been recognized by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), which honored the school with eight North Central Indiana region 2022 awards.
Members of the Marketing and Communications team joined area advertising firms and other Purdue units at a ceremony in Lafayette on February 23 to honor work completed in 2021.
“Our seven submissions, each of which won an award, showcase the breadth of our work. Projects ranged from videos to elevator wraps to an extraordinary brochure that won the top two awards,” says Executive Director of Krannert Marketing and Communications Sue Doron.
“Audiences of these pieces include prospective students, employers looking to hire our students, and peer business schools,” Doron says. “I am so proud of the varied, polished work our team is doing to support Krannert and our faculty, programs, and students.”
The Krannert Marketing & Communications team brought home:
A Gold Award for a brochure showcasing Krannert student athletes. This student-athlete piece also won one of two Judge’s Choice awards and will move on to the AAF’s district competition.
Silver Awards for:
- a student athlete photo of Kristian Komlenic, a Purdue men’s swimming and diving star and GSCM master’s student;
- designs that adorn the elevators in the Krannert Building and Rawls Hall that highlight our students and alumni, and railings on Rawls Hall’s 2nd floor;
- a 30-second promotional video introducing our new Integrated Business and Engineering (IBE) program;
- a 2 ½ minute video story that illustrates the adventures of Zihan Zhang (MSGSCM ’21), who has visited all 48 states in mainland America;
- and a Rocketbook designed and physically mailed to peer institutions to support our ongoing reputation-building campaign.
The team also won a Bronze Award for a digital presentation that serves as an employer pitch deck for the Krannert Professional Development Center team.
