MBA, online master’s programs available to Purdue employees at a discount

Boilermakers can take their next giant leap by enhancing their skills with a Purdue master’s degree. Full-time Purdue West Lafayette employees admitted to a Daniels School of Business online master’s degree or certificate program will receive an automatic 10% discount. Plus, the business school will match up to an additional 10% if the employee’s department is providing funding.

The business school is also offering reduced tuition to those university employees admitted to its hybrid Weekend MBA program or Executive MBA program.

“Like our colleagues across campus, we value lifelong learning,” says Dilip Chhajed, the Daniels School's Associate Dean for Online Programs and Strategic Innovation. “That’s why we provide flexible programs for working professionals that are rigorous but adaptable to their needs and career goals.”

The tuition discount intends to encourage professionals to continue their education, gaining valuable skills at an affordable rate, Chhajed says.

The Daniels School’s MBA program portfolio includes the Executive MBA and the Weekend MBA, and these two programs will offer a 50% reduction in tuition for admitted full-time Purdue West Lafayette employees.

The business school offers online master’s programs in Business Analytics, Economics, Global Supply Chain Management, and Human Resource Management. Each program is 30 credit hours, fully online, and consists of instructor-led, asynchronous learning.

“Purdue staff who are eager to make their ideas heard, to make a real impact on their department and create lasting, extraordinary change, should pursue a graduate degree,” says Cara Cray, program manager for the Daniels School’s Larsen Leaders Academy and Brock-Wilson Center for Women in Business. “My Weekend MBA program is challenging, yet achievable, and the classes are demanding, yet enjoyable. The faculty expect excellence — believe you are capable of it!”

Classroom material has proven immediately applicable, Cray says. “This is because the faculty are real people who love their fields of study so much, they want you to see it all around you.”

Take advantage of these discounts as soon as this fall. The application deadline for a fall 2023 start is July 30.
