All undergraduate and graduate students across Purdue University can take part in an analytics immersion experience that provides high-quality training in prescriptive analytics using SAS software.
By participating in the 2023 Purdue University SAS Optimization Challenge Competition, students will learn to formulate and solve common optimization problems using SAS software for 2-3 days. They are then challenged to form teams of 3-4 students to solve a case problem. Top teams are invited to present in person to a panel of industry judges from SAS, Microsoft, INFORMS, and others.
Teams may be composed of all undergraduate, graduate, or a combination of both undergraduate and graduate students.
The Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business’ Krenicki Center for Business Analytics & Machine Learning is hosting the SAS Optimization Challenge Competition.
