The Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business has again been accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the leading global reviewer of business schools.
“Business schools accredited by AACSB are globally recognized as the finest educational institutions. AACSB’s rigorous evaluation process assesses essential areas such as research, teaching, and curricula, and prioritizes dedication to fostering engagement, driving innovation, and delivering high-quality teaching,” says Mohit Tawarmalani, the Allison and Nancy Schleicher Chair of Management and interim dean of the Daniels School as of July 1.
Established in 1916, AACSB is a nonprofit organization recognized internationally for its independent reviews of business schools around the world. Less than 5 percent of all schools offering degree programs in business at the bachelor level or higher worldwide hold AACSB accreditation.
The Daniels School offers top undergraduate, master’s, MBA and PhD programs in all aspects of business, with a focus on STEM disciplines and the intersection of business, technology, and science. The school takes a data-driven approach to solving the world’s toughest challenges, and a hands-on approach to learning.
Purdue’s business school was first AACSB accredited in 1967. School leadership was informed June 28, 2023, that its AACSB accreditation was extended, as approved by the organization’s Continuous Improvement Review Committee and its Board of Directors. Continuous Improvement Reviews are conducted on five-year cycles.
