CV

Mario Crucini is the Jerry and Rosie Semler Chair in Economics in the Daniels School of Business at Purdue University, a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and at the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis. He is founder of the Center for Inflation and Price Research and co-founder of the Midwest Macroeconomics Group. He received his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Rochester and an Honors B.A., from the University of Western Ontario. He has held faculty appointments at Vanderbilt University, the University of Pennsylvania, the Ohio State University, New York University, and the University of Melbourne. His research seeks to further our understanding of international business cycles, the international aspects of price determination and the role of commercial policy during the Great Depression. His research has been supported by the National Science Foundation and is published in the leading peer review journals of the profession
