  Student summer interns wanted for safe campus project

  ProjectX Safe Campus is a virtual five-week consulting internship that will allow student teams to work on solutions to make for a meaningful and safe on-campus experience. Students from across campus are eligible to sign up as individuals or in teams of two to four students, with a recommendation that at least one team participant is earning a major or minor from the Krannert School of Management.   Purdue launches online analytics degree
  Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management will begin offering an online Master’s in Business Analytics in fall 2020. The degree is aimed at working professionals. Students will receive broad exposure to various functional areas of business and how they use information to make better-informed decisions. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates the need for business analysts to increase 14% by 2024, and this degree will prepare participants for a wide variety of roles within the industry.

  Purdue trustees approve Krannert School named and distinguished faculty positions
  The Purdue University Board of Trustees on Friday (June 14) ratified seven named and distinguished faculty positions, including three within the Krannert School of Management. David Hummels was named a Distinguished Professor of Economics, Mohit Tawarmalani was named the Allison and Nancy Schleicher Chair in Management, and Annabelle Feng was named the John and Donna Krenicki Chair in Operations Management. Trustees also issued resolutions of appreciation for friends of the university whose names will be added to campus facilities.

As a result, the Business and Information Analytics Center will now be known as the John and Donna Krenicki Center for Business Analytics and Machine Learning, pending Board of Trustees approval.

  A Fortune 500 CEO and Purdue University alumnus has created an endowed deanship at his alma mater’s business school. Samuel Allen, chairman and chief executive officer of Deere & Co., made a $5 million gift to name the deanship and provide resources for strategic initiatives within the school. The position will be known as the Dr. Samuel R. Allen Dean of the Krannert School of Management.

  Leading Indian business school NMIMS is teaming up with Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management to offer students two degrees in the rapidly growing field of analytics.
