Organizational Behavior/Human Resources
Rachel Hahn is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Daniels School of Business. Rachel's research examines uniquely female leadership experiences using biological and sociological lenses. Her primary line of research explores how women's menstrual cycles impact work outcomes. Her research uses rigorous methodological practices for assessing physiological menstrual cycle effects, such as using saliva to measure estrogen and progesterone. Her secondary research focus explores how female leaders impact their team's success, and how female leaders differ from male leaders in these respects. She specializes in research methods, with a focus on multilevel multigroup modeling and response-surface analysis.
Rachel was an active member of the Academy of Management's DEI Executive Committee as a Student Representative 2021-2023, and earned the Best Reviewer Award for the DEI and OB divisions in 2024. Rachel earned her PhD in Organizational Behavior from Michigan State University as well as her Master's degree in Communication from University of Arizona.
