CV

Melanie Fox is an award-winning educator, researcher, and mentor. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Economics at Purdue University and the co-author and co-editor of several books. In July 2025, Fox became Director of Undergraduate Studies for the Economics Department. Her academic research focuses on teaching pedagogy and career paths and mentoring for economists in teaching-oriented and non-tenure track roles.

    Students from Indiana elementary and middle schools will demonstrate how they have learned to harness economic skills and innovation to create a successful business at the Dennis J. Weidenaar Classroom Business Enterprise (CBE) Showcase at Purdue University’s Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business on Wednesday, April 3.
