Economics Research Micro-Grant
This $800 micro-grant, initiated by the Department of Economics, Daniels School of Business, aims at supporting doctoral student research activities, including, but not limited to: (i) purchasing data set(s) and licensing fees; (ii) experimental subject payments; (iii) computational resource expenditures.
James A. Papke Graduate Fellowship Award
James A. Papke Graduate Fellowship Award is a one-year award in the amount of $3,500. This endowment, established by Dr. James R. Nunns and other former Ph.D. students, honors Professor Papke and encourages the continuation and advancement of public sector economics. Distributions shall provide fellowship support for graduate students enrolled in the Economics Ph.D. Program who are concentrating their study and writing their dissertations in areas relating to public sector economics, including taxation, budget, debt and fiscal policies, and program evaluation.

Best Poster Presentation of 2022 Krannert KDSA Symposium
The Krannert Doctoral Student Association (KDSA) Symposium is an opportunity for PhD students to present their research to peers across all academic areas within the Krannert School of Management (aka the Daniels School of Business) and to receive feedback from peers and faculty. The poster session is open to Year 1-2 PhD students, and the presentation sessions are open to Year 3+ and above. The best candidates within each session will be awarded as winners of that year.

This course is the first formal exposure that students have to the world of microeconomics: the branch of economics that studies the behavior of individuals (people, households, and firms). This is a Face-to-Face Instructional course with 3 credits. The class schedule is Tue & Thu, 9:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m., from Aug 20 to Dec 5, 2024.
