Dr. Blanchard has taught at Purdue in the economics department since 1998. Her current research interests focus on the economics of information, particularly in labor markets and in higher education. In addition, Dr. Blanchard acts as a consultant for clients involved in antitrust litigation. Her expertise has guided nationally recognized institutions such as ARCO and the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA). Before her appointment at Purdue, she taught at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. Dr. Blanchard received her bachelor's degree in economics from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, and completed her MS and Ph.D. degrees in economics at the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University.
