Professors Lumineau, Lu recognized for research

Two Krannert faculty members have been recognized for their significant scholarly accomplishments in research and their future research potential. Fabrice Lumineau is receiving this year’s Jay Ross Young Faculty Scholar Award, and Susan Lu is being honored
with the John & Mary Willis Young Faculty Scholar Award. Each carries a $10,000 prize, with a $5,000 monetary reward and $5,000 for research expenses.
Professor Lumineau is in the Strategic Management area, with an interest in international management. He has forthcoming articles in the Academy of Management Journal,Academy of Management Review and Journal of Management, and was published in the last year
in the Journal of Operations Management and Managerial and Decision Economics. He joined the Krannert faculty in 2012.
Professor Lu is in the Operations Management area, with interests in industrial organization and health care operations. She joined the Krannert faculty in 2014 from the University of Rochester. In her short academic career, she has published eight papers,
including three in top journals during her time at Purdue, and has another seven papers at various stages in the review process.
