Dean V. White Real Estate Scholars had the unique opportunity to sit down for dinner and conversation with George Cibula, his grandson, Luke Ferzacca, and longtime friend and business partner, Breck Hanson, on September 25. It was a relaxed evening full of great stories, professional insights and a few laughs along the way.
George Cibula is the founder of Darwin Realty and owns more than 60 industrial properties and 4.5 million square feet of office space in the Midwest. With decades of experience as a broker, he shared firsthand stories about the highs and lows of the business and what it takes to build a lasting career in a competitive field.
Students in attendance were previously selected as Dean V. White Real Estate Scholars in recognition of their academic excellence and career preparedness to work in real estate following graduation. Scholars are selected each fall and eligible for exclusive leadership, experiential and scholarship opportunities to enhance their career development.
