Purdue Business Toast

From 2014 to 2025 we held our annual “Toast” event. What started as a Toast to Herman C. Krannert honoring the generous donor, whose endowment helped lead to the construction of the first dedicated business school building, transitioned to the Purdue Business Toast to celebrate the accomplishments of the school and alumni and to look to the future. This event met the alumni where they live in various cities around the world to foster connection and reminisce days at Purdue University.

Aside from our virtual 2020 year, the event continuously grew both in number of locations and in attendees each year. In the 12 years the annual event took place, we hosted in a total of 44 locations in cities around the world. There were 79 different hosts for these cities, 27 of which hosted in their city more than once.

While the Purdue Business Toast will not continue in its current form, the values, connections and momentum it created continue to inform and strengthen future initiatives. We are excited to share that the event has been reimagined as the Global Toast, hosted by the Purdue for Life Foundation. Expanding our reach through their 80-plus international networks, this is your new opportunity to network and engage with the worldwide Boilermaker community at locally hosted events.
