in the Center for Working Well

Rachael Carter is the Senior Program Manager for the Hayes Leadership Coaching Institute (HLCI) within the Center for Working Well at Purdue University’s Mitch Daniel School of Business. In this role, she leads planning, coordination, and execution of leadership coaching programs that enhance student development and create transformational learning experiences.

With more than 25 years of experience in higher education, nonprofit administration, finance and graduate medical education, Rachael has built a career centered on program leadership and strategic planning. She successfully led the startup and accreditation of graduate medical education residency programs, implemented process improvements that strengthened effectiveness, and cultivated strong relationships with students, faculty, and leadership to advance program success.

Rachael earned a Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies with a concentration in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Purdue Global and is a certified Student Success Coach. She is passionate about developing future leaders, building collaborative partnerships, and creating programs that empower individuals and organizations to thrive.
