The Purdue president emeritus and chair of the board of the Purdue Research Foundation was onstage in conversation with CEO and publisher of IBJ Media Nate Feltman during the media company’s May 16 Education Power Breakfast. Their wide-ranging discussion was held shortly before the Purdue Board of Trustees voted to approve the appointment of Mitch Daniels to serve as interim president of the university.
Focusing on the value of a college education today, Daniels and Feltman delved into AI, college sports, values, living “lives of character,” and why skepticism about the cost of college is justified.
