08-22-2024

The Federal Reserve’s annual conference of central bankers is underway in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where Fed chair Jerome Powell will on Friday give a hotly anticipated speech on how the Fed sees the economy and next steps.

Owing to his long career as leader of the St. Louis Fed and a trusted economist, Daniels School dean Jim Bullard is called upon to offer commentary on the Fed’s thinking. He is scheduled to appear live on Bloomberg’s Surveillance at 10 a.m. Friday morning; on Fox’s The Claman Countdown at 3 p.m. on August 28; and on CNBC’s Squawk Box at 8:30 a.m. on August 30. Times are Eastern and are subject to change. Find his media appearances under “In the News” on the school’s Meet the Dean page and follow Bullard on LinkedIn.
