Tyler Atanasov joined Purdue University as an Assistant Professor in 2023 after completing a Ph.D. in Accounting from The Ohio State University. Previously, he earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Akron. His research interests broadly revolve around corporate disclosures and management accounting, as well as how these practices interact with firm operations. His research has been published in leading academic journals including Review of Accounting Studies and The Accounting Review. He teaches Intermediate Accounting in the undergraduate accounting program.
