Ankit Sisodia serves as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Purdue University, specializing in the use of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) for business applications. He employs disentanglement learning, a generative deep learning methodology, on unstructured product image data to automatically obtain and quantify human interpretable visual characteristics. These characteristics facilitate the estimation of consumer preferences for visual design and market structure mapping based on product images.
He holds a PhD in Quantitative Marketing from the Yale School of Management. Ankit's industry work experience includes stints at Myntra (online fashion retailer), 21st Century Fox (broadcast media) and Tata Consultancy Services (IT). He also holds credentials from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and the Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University. At Purdue, he teaches the core Marketing Management course.
