In early October 2024, we traveled across campus to each of the five dining courts. We informally polled a few Purdue students and asked their opinions on their favorite dining court. After calculating students' results, Ford and Wiley nearly tied, but in the end, Wiley pushed to the top by two votes.—This is why voting matters!
Here are students' favorite dining courts and what to enjoy when you grab grub there.
Wonderful Wiley
“Wiley is wonderful; it's close to the dorms, has great food and is the best place to get dinner with your friends.” – Chris Lopez, junior
Fantastic Ford
“If I could only eat at one dining hall for the rest of year, it’d be Ford. Ford has the best toppings for ice cream.” – Noah Desserich, freshman
Excellent Earhart
“My favorite meal is the buttered chicken from Earhart.” Mariana Gurgel, senior
Whimsical Windsor
“Windsor has healthier options like the salad station, and it has different types of food such as hala or grilled food.” – Emma Hazard, sophomore
Handy Hillenbrand
“Hillenbrand’s renovations have made it more accessible with its new seating and open concept.” – Caroline Curtis, senior
