The Chicago Marketing Trip offers MS Marketing students a valuable opportunity to network with industry professionals and alumni in the area. The program covers most of the costs, including hotel, meeting room arrangements, and meals, while students are responsible for transportation to and within Chicago. Students who helped organize the event by coordinating meetings and outreach with alumni and professionals are eligible to participate. The trip aims to foster connections and build relationships that could lead to future collaborations.
A case competition is an academic competition in which students come together to solve a case, or issue, that is presented. Students use teamwork, critical thinking, and organizational skills to deduce a recommendation that they support in a presentation in front of judges or company sponsors.
Our Center for Business Communication is your resource for case competitions hosted by the Daniels School of Business.
Purdue's Data 4 Good Competition sits at the intersection of critical thinking, data analysis, AI, and communication. Registered teams have benefited from free practice assessments and vouchers to complete the AI-900: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals certification. Participants sharpen their decision-making skills using data, technology, and research-based methods while gaining valuable credentials and networking with top data analytics organizations.

Though most marketing students complete their MSM in 10 or 18 months, students who’ve completed the summer internship may seek an additional internship opportunity for their fall semester, extending their program to 22 -months and graduating in spring. This co-op opportunity must include the summer internship, an active offer for a fall internship, and approval from ISS for international students.
The 22-month program with summer and fall internships increases the work experience of individuals to help them consistently receive secure, competitive job offers and acquire the leadership and data-driven marketing skills that distinguish them.
AWS Certification, Tableau Data Visualization Certification, and Salesforce Certification are the certifications that we reimburse the students upon passing. The students may pass all certifications and get reimbursed for all of them.
Designed for graduate marketing or other business students, the Marketing Certificate will help you learn how to make data-driven decisions. Understand practical solutions for marketing applications and complete a required consulting project.
