Where MBT Graduates have been Hired

LIlly

Some people talk about solving problems with AI. Samuel Ford actually does it — and he just won a hackathon to prove it. Sam is a Purdue Computer Science and MBT student who brings something rare to the table: the technical depth to build and the business smarts to know what's worth building. That combination is exactly what caught Eli Lilly's attention

Sam is heading to Indianapolis as part of the Lilly-Purdue AI Acceleration Fellowship — a fully immersive, one-year program where he'll work alongside Lilly's engineers, scientists, and business leaders to deploy real AI solutions across the pharmaceutical enterprise.

Lyowave

Audrey F. came into the MBT with deep roots in IT and software development leadership. She knew the technical side. What she wanted was the business side — strategy, commercialization, how to take hard technology and bring it to market. That's exactly what she's about to do.

Audrey is joining LyoWave, Inc., a Purdue-born startup using high-frequency microwave technology to revolutionize pharmaceutical freeze-drying — the process that keeps life-saving medicines stable for years instead of hours. She'll be building their sales and marketing function, developing business partnerships, writing grant proposals, and helping to establish the company's commercial presence from the ground up.

Lilly

Ryan Yang will be working inside Lilly's technology ecosystem — building and deploying production AI capabilities across automation tools, agentic communication frameworks, and AI-driven workflows. He'll be embedded in one of Lilly's core business units and applying what he's learned directly to real enterprise challenges from day one.

This is exactly the kind of role the MBT is built for: not just understanding AI, but deploying it. Ryan isn't joining Lilly as a student — he's joining as a practitioner.

Raytheon

MBT student Abigail Trent is joining Raytheon as an Industrial Engineer. She'll be leading factory optimization work using process modeling, value stream mapping, and Lean/Six Sigma methodology — the kind of role that demands both deep technical fluency and strategic thinking.

When we say "every company is a technology company", that definitely includes defense manufacturing. MBT doesn't just create managers who understand technology, but technical leaders who understand business. Abby is a great example of both.
