Funding is available for up to five years, provided the student maintains satisfactory progress in the program. Funding beyond five years is up to the discretion of the department.

The MIS doctoral curriculum consists of 37 total credit hours completed over four-five years. The curriculum is broken down into the following focus areas: major specialization, research methods, minor specialization, and required courses.

Funded Marketing PhD students will participate as a graduate teaching assistant (TA).
Graduate Teaching Assistant (TA)
TA roles often begin with teaching assistance for a course based on the TA’s chosen field of study, expertise, and experience and progress to course delivery responsibilities. All funded students are required to teach at least two courses during their time in the program.
