The Confident Transitions Pathway is a one-of-a-kind program for college seniors offered by the Brock-Wilson Center for Women in Business.
Through the generous support of a donor, this pathway provides graduating undergraduate women a cohort based, 12-month program. Students meet once a month to gain key skills as they transition from full-time college student to full-time employee. They learn skills like peer coaching and how to fully utilize their Gallup Strengths. They receive 12 leadership books and discuss one per month, and hear from guest speakers on important topics like budgeting, life planning, negotiations, benefits and much more. Finally, they have access to one-on-one career coaching with a certified coach and an additional near peer alumni mentor.
Fifteen women completed the pilot in 2023, and more than 50 are participating in the 2024 cohort. Read about this group of future leaders.
