WEEKEND MBA CURRICULUM

The Weekend MBA program provides a learning experience that is intensive, demanding and rigorous – but richly rewarding. We expect serious preparation and total commitment from all students. Program alumni report that, because the work is intellectually challenging, the improvement in their managerial skill set was both immediate and substantial.

Through case studies, research projects, group presentations and lectures, the Daniels School of Business Weekend MBA courses enhance your critical abilities and skills in decision and policy-making aspects of finance, marketing, leadership, and more. Plus, you’ll collaborate with like-minded professionals from diverse industries to learn from their methods.

The curriculum comprises a set of common core courses that all students take. To build on this core, choose from a large catalog of electives that you can take online or on-campus. Curate your plan of study with specialized courses -- including Python Programming; Exploring Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Frontiers in AI; Wage Discrimination; and Web Data Analytics, to name just a few -- that cater to the skill sets you want to develop.

“The cohort approach of the Purdue Weekend MBA program has reinforced several leadership skills, specifically accountability, organizational politics, and the importance of communication. Each of your group members are counting on you to make a valuable contribution, and that is no different than in the workplace.”

Jason Dale, Weekend MBA '17
