Daniels, Jr. School of Business and Purdue Federal Credit Union (PFCU).

Mike Eriksen, the incoming director of the new Dean V. White Real Estate Finance Program at Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management, is anxious to share his passion with students. “One of my strengths is getting people excited about real estate,” he says. “I really enjoy working with students, introducing them to the field, and seeing their successes.”

Priscilla Gracia, a native of Jakarta, Indonesia, knew she wanted to study in the United States for her undergraduate degree, she just wasn’t sure where. After considering both Penn State and Purdue, she chose to become a Boilermaker and pursue her education at the Krannert School of Management. “Purdue has a great reputation in Indonesia and attracts a lot of international students,” she says. “That diversity and Krannert’s strong alumni network were big factors in my choice.”

Purdue’s School of Management launches Dean V. White Real Estate Finance Program

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University’s School of Management formally announced the Dean V. White Real Estate Finance Program on Friday (April 22) at its 2022 Krannert Alumni Awards Celebration Dinner. The new program, named in memory of the late Indiana entrepreneur in recognition of a $20.8 million pledge from the Dean and Barbara White Family Foundation, was approved on April 8 by Purdue trustees. The gift is the largest monetary contribution ever made to the School of Management.

A team of students from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management took a step toward national and global recognition with a recent victory in Indiana’s 2020 CFA Institute Research Challenge. The annual global equity research competition provides university students with hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis, giving them real-world experience as they assume the role of research analysts. They are judged by industry professionals on their ability to value a stock, write a research report, and present their recommendations.
