This partnership allows the Daniels School of Business to formally recognize NMIMS as a valuable contributor to the MSF program and strengthens Purdue's connection with an institution that aligns with our values and academic standards." -- Fabricio d'Almedia, academic director of the Daniels School's master’s program in finance

NMIMS students will benefit from Purdue University’s networking opportunities, practicum courses, career services and student groups

Purdue's MSF program is STEM-designated, meaning NMIMS students will be eligible to apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT) after graduation, allowing them to work in the U.S. for up to three years under their student visa.

NMIMS students will complete 63 credits in their first year of the MBA program in India. Those accepted to Purdue are not required to do the summer module at Purdue. Instead of the six summer credits, four will be transferred from NMIMS courses, and two will be taken as additional courses in the fall or spring semester.

Once they arrive at Purdue in August for the fall semester, students must complete 32 graduate credit hours in the fall and spring semesters (~16 credit per semester). The finance master's degree will be conferred by Purdue upon the satisfactory completion of the 32 credits.
