Purdue Finance Area

The Finance Programs at the Purdue University Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. Business School are dedicated to achieving excellence in teaching and research. At the undergraduate and graduate level, our programs offer an array of courses covering such topics as corporate financial management, investment management, security analysis, mergers & acquisitions, financial risk management, international financial management and others. In addition to classroom coursework, our programs offer opportunities to participate in intra- and inter-collegiate case competitions, hands-on investment management practice, and student-led club activities.

Our Finance faculty feature scholars who have published articles in the top finance, economics, and management journals. These contributions have been recognized by awards and prizes earned at major national and international conferences and given by the most prestigious journals. In terms of finance research ranking, we are currently ranked #28 worldwide in the ASU-FMA Rankings. The faculty is dedicated to bringing this research excellence to the classroom in practical applications. The faculty features multiple winners of university and school-wide teaching awards.
