Daniels School students who are part of the Honors College can earn an Honors diploma by completing a unique curriculum that will shape them into analytical, resourceful, industry-ready professionals. With small classes taught by top faculty, Honors courses engage students with enhanced learning opportunities. Honors students will work with a faculty member to complete a research project as a requirement of the program.
The mission of the Honors College is to foster well-rounded, well-educated global leaders. Unique study abroad programs and interdisciplinary classes are a key component of the program. From the very first semester, the Honors College curriculum begins to develop students into leaders who will have a positive impact on the world. The four pillars of the Honors College — leadership development, undergraduate research, community and global experiences, and interdisciplinary academics — all serve to accomplish this goal.
Prospective students who would like to be part of the Honors College must complete the Purdue application for admission, including the Honors College portion, by November 1. Incoming freshmen will be notified of their Honors College decision by February 15. Current Purdue students may also apply to join the Honors College as well as transfer students.
