This introductory course provides students with a foundation to build a meaningful understanding of corporate finance in the U.K. and the role of the financial manager . As the course progresses, topics such as discounted cash flow valuation, bond valuation, stock valuation, cost of capital determination and the decision criteria to apply to project evaluation will be discussed.
The DSB 390 cultural competency course is taught by a local professor and will allow students to be fully immersed in a business course with a specific focus on the host city.
Both courses are supplemented with cultural activities, excursions, and company visits.
