The Daniels School of Business' Quant Methods Area and Krenicki Center for Business Analytics and Machine Learning are hosting a Statistics and Optimization in Data Science workshop May 26-27, 2023.
The workshop begins at 8:15 a.m. on May 26 and ends at 4:30 p.m. with a panel session on May 27. The breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. on both days.
The workshop will be held at Rawls Hall, Daniels School of Business, 100 S. Grant Street, West Lafayette, Indiana 47907. Campus maps and directions can be found here.
The workshop features a poster competition for PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty who received a PhD in the past two years. The competition encourages submission of research results in a wide variety of domains in statistics and/or optimization motivated by critical and complex problems in data science.
The selected posters have been announced. Cash prizes will be awarded to the best posters based on faculty’s voting results.
