Virtual Mini-Conference

A virtual conference package is being offered to alumni and friends who are unable to make the trip back to campus this spring. The package includes five live sessions over two days (and later, on-demand), conference materials, special access to the conference mobile app, and a special snack box delivered right to your door from Snack Magic!

Presentation and Q&A with Krannert alum from the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center

9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

“Taking a Healthy Approach to Diversity: The Business Case for DEI”
Morning Keynote with Dr. Jerome Adams, a former US Surgeon General and current Presidential Fellow and Executive Director of Health Equity Initiative at Purdue University

10:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.

”Board Leadership Perspectives”
Join a moderated panel of “who’s who” of Krannert alumni board leaders that spans corporate, non-profit and higher education. Speakers include Marshal Larsen from the board of United Technologies and Carolyn Woo, former dean of Mendoza College at the University of Notre Dame. More panelists will be added as they are confirmed.

1:30 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.

“From Service to Business”
With a focus on our Krannert alumni veterans, we look at how varying military backgrounds shape career paths and experiences. Erika Steuterman, Gerald Sims, Casper Jones, and Don Roush will discuss their various paths within the military and business.

3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Charlene Sullivan’s Retirement Lecture
Retirement lecture from Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs, Charlene Sullivan. Not only an alum herself, Charlene has been a mainstay at Krannert since she joined the faculty in 1978!
