Emerging Scholars Cohort

The CWW Emerging Scholars Cohort is a selective 6-month virtual program (May–October) for students and recent graduates considering doctoral study in organizational research. The cohort will gather in person at Purdue University’s Center for Working Well for a 2-day Research Intensive in August 2026.

The cohort (4–6 participants) provides structured immersion into the research lifecycle and the scholarly community at the Center for Working Well.

Program Components

  • Monthly research roundtables with CWW leadership, faculty, and PhD students
  • PhD student panel on doctoral preparation
  • Participation in the August CWW 2-Day Research Intensive
  • Opportunities to contribute to Working Well research initiatives
  • Optional paid research assistant opportunities (up to 100 hours at $20/hour), depending on project needs

Time Commitment

Approximately 3–5 hours per month (excluding optional research work).
