Marshall and Susan Larsen
The Marshall and Susan Larsen Leaders Academy was established in 2018 thanks to the generosity of Marshall Larsen (MSIA '77) and his wife, Susan.
Marshall was chief executive officer of Goodrich and was named one of the "100 best-performing CEOs in the world" by Harvard Business Review. He received the school's Business Leadership Award, our highest honor, in 2022.
The Larsens are committed to supporting high-achieving business students and often return to campus to spend time with LLA participants.

Find Your "Why" to Lead the Way
The Larsen Leaders Academy enriches the academic journey and professional development of its students with programming inspired by our framework.
The Student Executive Board of the Larsen Leaders Academy plays a key role in shaping the student experience. Composed of selected student leaders, the board helps plan events, build community, and represent the LLA brand. Members serve as a bridge between the student body and academy leadership, ensuring student voices are reflected in decisions. Through this work, the board fosters a collaborative environment that supports peer growth and connection.
The directors of the Larsen Leaders Academy guide the strategic vision and daily operations of its leadership development programs. This team includes faculty, administrative staff, and experienced mentors who develop curriculum, support student success, and ensure the academy’s work reflects the demands of modern business. By working closely with students and one another, the LLA team builds a strong foundation for leadership and personal growth.
