Ultimaker Printer

UltiMaker S7

The UltiMaker S7 3D Printer allows students to easily print 3D objects with a plethora of materials, delivering professional-grade printing with the help of numerous features to adjust print speed and quality with UltiMaker Cura.

There are currently 3 UltiMaker S7s available for use in labs. The printers in lab are not available for public use; students are not allowed to use them until they have read the 3D Printer Handbook and and the Engagement Center Ultimaker Guide, and they have completed the UltiMaker S7 3D Printer quiz to prove that they understand how to properly use these printers.

Bambu Lab P1S

The P1S is a hobbyist's 3D printer, allowing for quick and efficient printing with a smaller build volume and cheaper price than the UltiMaker S7. Similar to UltiMaker Cura, Bambu Studio is the slicing software used for preparing 3D models for printing.

There is currently one P1S in lab. We currently don't have a handbook or a quiz, so students are not allowed to use this printer until those are available.

In the meantime, you can learn more about the P1 series: https://bambulab.com/en-us/p1
