The Daniels School of Business is currently offering a limited number of scholarships to qualified candidates for its Online Master’s programs. These merit-based awards do not require any additional application, as all applicants are considered.
The admissions team wants to hear your story in your own voice, and our application is your chance to put your best foot forward. It is designed to be simple and concise, giving you plenty of opportunities to comment on the most important factors in your success: why you want to enroll in online business programs and why you are interested in continuing your education at Purdue.
Your application should emphasize your work experience, prior undergraduate academic record and professional training. It creates a holistic view of each candidate for the admissions committee.
Many of our successful candidates demonstrate the following attributes. These are not required, but they are typical of students in our programs who succeed in their programs. They may help you decide whether a graduate degree is the right next step for you.
These materials are not required, but they offer a valuable opportunity to tell additional parts of your story to the admissions team.

On your graduate school application, you will see a section where you can upload the documents listed. There is no need to do so for admission to the Daniels School of Business online programs; you can submit your application without attaching them.
Note: Application requirements and recommendations listed above are specific to online business graduate programs at the Daniels School of Business. Application processes, requirements and recommendations for other online programs, colleges/schools and residential programs may differ.
Two online recommendations are required for your application to be received. No more than two recommendations are needed.
Recommendations will only be accepted through the online application (no paper recommendations will be accepted).
We prefer that recommenders be employers who are able to render an opinion on the basis of close, current and sustained observation.
Please note that we will not receive your application until at least two registered recommenders have submitted recommendations through the online application.
You will need to provide official transcripts and/or academic records only at the request of the graduate program or in the event of a favorable admission decision and you choose to enroll. An official transcript bears the original signature of the registrar and/or the original seal of the issuing institution.
Official documents should be submitted to:
Office of Graduate Admissions
Purdue University Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars
155 South Grant Street, YONG 170
West Lafayette, IN 47907-2114
Transcripts and/or English translations must be mailed directly from a registrar’s office via sealed envelope to the Office of Graduate Admissions. The Office of Graduate Admissions also accepts electronic transcripts from accredited U.S. colleges and universities sent via eSCRIP-SAFE, Docufide, Parchment Exchange or directly from the accredited U.S. college and university. The transcript must be sent to gradadm@purdue.edu. All transcripts and/or academic documents uploaded to the online application system are considered unofficial. The Purdue University Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Students and Post Doctoral Scholars reserves the right to require official transcripts and/or academic documents at any time during the admissions process. Transcripts will not be returned.
All applicants must upload to the online application transcript(s) and/or academic document(s) for every institution of higher education attended. If a transcript and diploma/degree certificate are not in English, an English translation (certified by the college or university which issued it) must be uploaded. The uploaded transcript and/or academic document must be from the official version of the document. An official transcript bears the original signature of the registrar and/or the original seal of the issuing institution. If personal identifying information such as a student identification number or social security number appears on the document, REMOVE THIS INFORMATION from your electronic version of your document or mark out the information in black ink before scanning your document.
Upload a transcript for every institution of higher education attended, including evidence of a baccalaureate degree awarded, into the online application. If you are currently studying for a baccalaureate degree, you will later be required to submit a document that verifies the awarding of that degree.
