TOP 3 THINGS ABOUT PURDUE:

  1. Opportunities to be involved. I love to be involved in events and services bigger than myself, but I also love the leadership development it offers to oversee these events.
  2. The Business Opportunity Program. I admire all the support BOP offers me and the community it has created that makes Purdue feel like a home away form home.
  3. The scenery around campus. I love going on walks and taking pictures — Purdue provides quite a view.

FAVORITE ACTIVITY OR HOBBY:

I love to play soccer, work out, and paint.

FAVORITE CLASS:

My favorite class so far has been Darren Henry’s class, the director of BOP, “Minorities in Management.” I really liked this class because not only do we talk about real-world issues, but we talk about how to handle them. We also have guest speakers where we get to hear more about companies and what they do, building a connection to be able to visit again in career fairs.

WHAT MAKES BOP SO SPECIAL?

BOP has become a very special reason as to why Purdue is amazing because it provides a community with not only students on campus, but also with a vast number of alumni that we are able to contact, creating a family and a home away from home.
