WHAT MAKES BOP SO SPECIAL?

BOP is unique because it pairs a diverse set of like-minded business students into a program that accelerates and brings out the full potential of each and every student who participates.

DESCRIBE HOW A RELUCTANT DECISION TO PARTICIPATE IN BOP TURNED INTO A WISE DECISION:

Early on when I was deciding on colleges, I was unsure of whether I wanted to come to Purdue. My first choice was to ultimately attend another top in-state business school, however my mom had something different in mind. My mom, who works in higher education, thought that the BOP program would provide me with more opportunities as a minority, and she turned out to be right! The summer program allowed me to gain valuable experiences preparing me for the fall. After the summer was over I used these experiences to my advantage, and two months into school I had already received internship offers from two Fortune 500 companies for the following summer. Without BOP I wouldn't be where I am today, as many of my best friends who attend another top in-state business school are looking for fast-food jobs in the summer.
