Accounting in high school helped lay the foundation for my business understanding and solidify my passion for accounting.  By having some knowledge before college, I was able to learn more about other business topics causing me to be ahead of my peers.  Additionally, I was able to achieve high grades in the earlier accounting courses due to the high school course.
