The grant program provides selected and eligible manufacturers with ideas and guidance for transitioning their operations to manufacture components for the electric vehicle (EV) and/or clean energy markets
These insights come in the form of a new Small Supplier Electric Vehicle Transition Playbook to create practical action plans for their businesses
The program currently has openings for 5 to 7 manufacturing companies to receive no-cost consulting and guidance
Value:
Participating in this pilot will give companies preferential status to apply for a Department of Energy implementation matching grant of up to $300,000 per project
Notable Conditions:
Small to medium size enterprises – under 1,000 employees with an annual revenue of less than $500 million
Tier 1, 2 and 3 suppliers to the automotive industry
Production facilities located in Indiana
