The Daniels School of Business has launched three new BS programs in the past two years: The Integrated Business and Engineering (IBE) in fall 2021, and the Business Analytics and Information Management and Supply Chain and Operations Management programs in fall 2022.

Purdue University continues to rank among the top 10 most innovative schools in the nation, due in part to business-research partnerships that address real-world needs while producing job-ready graduates.
In that spirit, the Integrated Business and Engineering (IBE) program at Purdue’s School of Management recently partnered with the Industrial Design (ID) program from the College of Liberal Arts to host an IBE + ID Innovation Hackathon at the Shively Club in Ross-Ade Stadium.
Students come to Purdue seeking knowledge, but some of life’s most important lessons aren’t found in a book or a lecture hall. When we switch the academic experience from passive to active, we produce agile, critical thinkers capable of tackling the world’s biggest problems.

“Business is a fantastic place for strong STEM students,” says Putman, director of the Brock-Wilson Center and clinical assistant professor. “We want to recruit top young people from around the country, provide great opportunities while they are here, and graduate women who are holistic, confident leaders.”
Communication evolves with each generation, but the principles remain. Students must be prepared to speak, write, and interact well. Strong communication skills and a deep knowledge of the history of business combine to build bridges across technology and humanity.
“It isn’t a class, it’s a conversation.” The unique Economic Scholars Program exemplifies the school’s dedication to close study of transformative texts written by great thinkers and encourages thoughtful, in-depth discussion of economics topics.
