SUMMER 2026IN-PERSON VIRTUAL
You will learn to hone your presentation skills by going deeper than filler words and fidgeting. Starting with a safe space to practice foundational communication principles, you will leave the course with a renewed sense of confidence in your abilities to lead as an effective communicator. This course will allow participants to develop and enhance their interpersonal communication to manage team dynamics and lead masterfully.
This new hybrid course is for professionals in any industry looking to improve their communication skills across a variety of audiences. Through hands-on practice and deep listening, this program will strengthen your credibility and help you grow as a skilled leader who can communicate with clients, colleagues, board members, shareholders and more.
Along with the virtual component of the course, you will have the opportunity to come to the West Lafayette campus and participate in the final portion of this course which includes lectures and face time with your instructors.
Furthermore, Daniels Online Programs is excited to offer students a full campus experience that will include peer networking and connection opportunities, tours of Mackey Arena and Rohrman Field, a visit from Purdue Pete, a Purdue Traditions excursion, rides on the Boilermaker Special and more!

Mackey Arena/Rohrman Field Tour
Originally named “Purdue Arena,” groundbreaking for the circular concrete and steel Mackey Arena dome structure took place in July of 1965. It was hailed as “the first of its kind among collegiate sports facilities.” Students will be taken on a tour of Mackey Arena and will get the opportunity to walk on to the basketball court floor. Upon exiting Mackey, students will be guided to Ross-Ade Stadium to access Rohrman Field for photo opportunities.

Purdue Traditions Tour
This tour includes stops at various campus locations that may include, but are not limited to:
Buildings mentioned will only be viewed from the outside. The route will take students through many of the great traditions and photo spots on campus. Participants should bring comfortable walking shoes on this 1.5-mile journey around Prdue’s campus. The tour will include a stop at the Discount Den. Located within easy walking distance from campus, the Den has something for everyone: Purdue apparel, snacks, soft drinks, cards, novelty gifts and more. Students will have a moment to shop and get a traditional, refreshing Den Pop. The tour will start and end at RAWLS.
